Most of these chains stopped producing blocks years ago.

For years this domain ran block explorers for small altcoins, one to a subdomain. 37 of them. When the site went dormant the explorers went with it, and for several of these coins that was the last public record anyone was keeping.

This is that record, being put back.

Small chains do not announce that they have died.

There is rarely a final blog post. The exchange delists quietly, the explorer's host lapses, the forum thread 404s, the GitHub repo sits at a commit from 2018. A few years later there is no way to tell from the outside whether a coin was abandoned, quietly forked, or is still producing blocks for a handful of people.

Someone always still holds the wallet. That is the whole reason a record like this is worth keeping.

Every entry below ships as unverified until someone has confirmed the coin's fate against a named source and stamped the date on it. Working out whether a chain halted in 2017 or is quietly still running takes reading, and an archive that guesses is worth less than no archive at all.
